New IAS Project |
The Hydrobiological Institute Ohrid, FYR Macedonia, has got funding for a new project "Climate Change and Invasive Alien Species – growing threats to biodiversity and ecosystem functions in ancient Lake Ohrid and its watershed". The project starts in September 2012 and it is funded by the Royal Norwegian Embassy – Skopje/ Belgrade. Project co-ordinator is Assoc. Prof. Dr Sasho Trajanovski from the Hydrobiological Institute Ohrid, and project partners are Institute of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Research, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Bulgaria, and the Faculty of Agriculture and Environment, Department of Plant Protection, Agricultural University of Tirana, Albania.
